Student Org. Officers


Yash Patel

The goal of the president is to ensure that the board, whether through event planning or setting up student-led programs, is acting in service to the best interests of the student body we represent. Additionally, the president is meant to serve as the representative of the student body during important events and meetings.

Vice President

Naomi Nikita Thammadi

The Vice President works closely alongside the President. I will be holding the responsibility of all the presidential duties in the absence of the President.


Rachael Dewey

I am responsible to maintain the records of organization funds, raising funds for the events conducted by the student organization. I will provide assistance to the vice-president and program manager in the development of fundraisers.



The Graduate Students Senate comprises representatives from each registered Graduate Student Organization (GSO) The senator represents you guys in that forum. Reach out to me if you have concerns that need to be raised there.



The secretary maintains accurate and complete records for the student organization. I go over minutes from previous meetings and creates agendas.

Marketing Officer


The role of the Marketing Officer is to lead marketing communication, and organize social and networking events. I will also work with the SDS Marketing Communications Manager to manage online and social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms. I also create promotional materials, including flyers and social media posts to fill the SDS in on upcoming events.

Student Liaison


The role of the Student Liaison is to create opportunities and facilitate the exchange of Ideas between students and the staff. Likewise, I work closely with the student body and help foster collaborations to help students meet their purpose.

Health Informatics Representative

Himadri Verma

The HIA Representative is tasked with advancing HIA student involvement through promotion of HIA related events and opportunities. Additionally, I serve as a voice for HIA student input during organizational meetings.
