Tchernavia Montgomery has experience in behavioral health includes leading teams that provide services related to substance-abuse, outpatient, crisis response, and enhanced services. She serves as an adjunct faculty member with the UNC-Charlotte School of Public Health Sciences and School of Social Work. As a resident of North Carolina for over 25 years, she is an invested partner in assuring the health and well-being of her community. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives (Finance Committee); UNC-Charlotte School of Social Work, Community Advisory Board (Chair); Mentoring Program for Women on the Road to Success (MPWRS) Steering Committee (Carolinas Healthcare System) and Mentor; and the Goodwill Industries of Southern Piedmont Champions for Good. In 2018, she was honored with the Charlotte ATHENA Leadership Award for Service. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
